The Beavers meet every Monday from 6.00pm to 7.15pm at the 2nd Reigate H.Q. The age range for Beavers is 6 to 8 years and new members are always welcome. If you would like to join please contact us or come along next Monday.

"Fun and Friends" is the motto for Beavers and all activities are intended to be fun as well as instructive.

In order to comply with Scout Association regulations on the ratio between adults and children, a Parent Helper Rota is in place. All parents are expected to attend at least one evening per term.

ACTIVITIES

As part of the new 6-25 programme, a number of Beaver badges have been worked on and passed. Over the last year the Beavers have made sweets for parents at Christmas, made plant pots for Mother’s day, played games on the common and in the Scout H.Q., tried cooking, and have had a swimming evening. They have also attended “Bazzaz” the Surrey County Beaver Scout Activity day.

Beaver Scouts go on outings and sometimes go to visit the Cub Scouts when they are on camp, but they do not stay overnight on camp.  Beavers are allowed on sleep overs, but only indoors and only for a maximum of 24 hours!
